QSR Media understands that Grill Me is just 2 stores shy of the 10 they need to make the new QSR viable. Grill Me was backed by the Franchise Food Company. Their plan was to turn ex-Souvlihut sites into a fast casual grilled offering and put some of their brands, particularly Cold Rock Ice creamery into the same site as well. By all accounts FFC have been extremely helpful to the ex-souvlakihut franchisees and tried to make this work they just did not get the sufficient numbers to make it viable.
